July 2010 - Business Development Manager
All at Key-tech would like to welcome Raymond Giudice who joins as Business Development Manager.
Raymond has been in the electronics industry for 29 years including 17 years experience of semiconductor sales.
June 2010 - Material Lead Times
Anyone involved in the electronics market will know that component lead times are increasing rapidly as demand outstrips capacity. Lead times of 16 weeks are very common with many even longer and some on allocation.
We are working with all of our customers to attempt to minimise the impact on their business but we do need them to give us greater visibility of consumption.
June 2010 - New Wash Tank
After many years of service we have decided to retire our wash tank and replace it with a new wash tank.
The tank has been installed and commissioned is fully operational. The new tank is capable of washing 8 baskets an hour - an increase of 33%.
April 2010 – Volcanic Eruptions
It seems the volcano in Iceland is causing problems with supplies of components. Please bear with us as we will expedite any parts that are being held up by the ash cloud disruptions and we will advise as soon as we know of any potential delays to our shipments.
March 2010 -Conformal Coating Machine installed
The conformal coating machine has now been installed and commissioned and is fully up and running.
We hope that this is a service that will prove beneficial to our customers.
February 2010 - Southern Manufacturing Exhibition
Key-tech will once again be at the Southern Manufacturing show on February 10th – 11th in Farnborough. Please come and visit us at stand G49.
This is the third year in a row that we have taken a stand here and we would like to meet any new or existing customers to discuss how we can best meet your requirements.
January 2010 - Conformal Coating Machine ordered
Key-tech have just placed the order for a brand new piece of equipment to speed up our conformal coating process. We hope to have this in place by mid February. This will improve the conformal coating process we currently offer to our customers.
January 2010 - Back to work and bad weather
All at Key-Tech would like to wish our customers a very Happy New Year.
Although we started back to work on the 4th and so far seemed to have missed the worst of the bad weather, we are aware that both our suppliers and customers are being affected. We hope that this will not delay any promised deliveries, but please bear with us until the weather improves.
